Selling my young Jungle Python as i need the money and don't have the time to tame him properly.
He was bought from a shop about 15 months ago and is healthy with beautiful colouring and about 2 feet long.
He is a bit fiesty and strikes if you try to pick him up but once he is in your hand he is fine. He will need to be handle with some gloves for a while until he is tamed properly. He should be able to be tamed fairly quickly if handle a few times a day. He has very small teeth and the bites don't hurt he is just not used to being handled.
He eats a pinky rat every 9-12 days.
I would love to keep him and tame him properly myself but i just don't have the time.
Jungle Pythons are arboreal snakes which means they spend most of their time in trees. He would need a tall tank (2.5 feet minimum) and good branches to climb on. Jungle pythons usually grow to around 5-6 feet so the tank would need to be upgraded to a larger tank in a few years when he gets bigger.
